It’s been an all-zombie weekend over here at Nerds and Bees. I wore my sparkly new zombie shirt on Friday and another one yesterday.
We watched Night of the Living Dead Friday, 28 Days Later yesterday and today we’ll be watching Dawn of the Dead and Walking Dead. I know, I’ve already seen it, but I really liked it, so I want to watch it again, see if they made any changes.
I almost hope they’ve changed episode two around a little bit … it wasn’t as awesome as the first ep and I wasn’t super crazy about it. But that’s not important. What’s important is Halloween and candy and jack-o-lanterns. Or in our case, Fett-o-laterns. Or would that be a Boba-lantern?

Either way, I wanted a Lego design and since we couldn’t find any Harry Potter pictures that made S happy, we ended up compromising on the Lego Boba Fett design. It’s pretty spiffy, if you ask me.
Also, I just took the survival test on AMC’s site.

Great. I’m an alpha male … too bad I’m a girl. And really, did they have to put Shane there? We all know what happens to Shane, don’t we? Geez.
And when you’ve watched episode one, come back here and tell me how much you despise this guy. For some reason, I hate him. Sorry, zombie man, you just piss me off.

Since we clearly missed our chance to carve a pumpkin this year, I’ve had to make due with a fake one. So depressing.

Go make your own while I gather up some Halloween-related posts.

It’s 9/02/10 … time to celebrate Donna, David, Brandon and Kelly.

You could even celebrate the new version, if you are so inclined.
Peach Pit here I come!!

Today is not only Sewing Machine Day, it’s also Vinyl Record Day!
Celebrate by buying a record and sewing a bag to carry it around in.
Or, even better, buy one that’s already made.

Dolly will always rock, but she’s also got the Beatles, the Doors and Boston bags.
I may need one of these…
